About the position

The Associate Interactive Web Designer at Mars United Commerce is responsible for deploying digital shelf designs and landing pages for online retailers, supporting user experience strategy, and integrating custom projects using various web technologies. This role requires collaboration with Creative Directors and Project Managers to create effective marketing solutions while adhering to best practices in SEO and design.

Responsibilities

• Deploy digital shelf designs and landing pages for online retailers through CMS platforms.
• Design digital media, digital shelf, and landing pages based on retailer guidelines.
• Support user experience strategy and innovation.
• Integrate small- to mid-scale custom projects using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and other commonly used code.
• Provide technical recommendations on all projects.
• Consider and implement SEO best practices.
• Partner with Creative Directors, Project Managers, and Ad Ops to create high-performing concepts/solutions for consumer marketing efforts.
• Seek feedback on designs from team and clients, and iterate designs based on feedback.
• Offer recommendations on ways to improve concepts/solutions.
• Communicate often, openly, clearly, and respectfully with peers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree associated with Art/Web Design/Development.
• 1-2 years' experience with web design, development, and deployment.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in Figma and/or XD.
• Working knowledge of common CMS platforms.
• Some experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Strong understanding of mobile technologies and responsive web design.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in designing digital shelf for online retailers.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Google Web Designer, Adobe Animate, DoubleClick, and Google Analytics.
