About the position

The Associate Interactive Web Designer at Mars United Commerce is responsible for deploying digital shelf designs and landing pages for online retailers, ensuring a seamless user experience while adhering to retailer guidelines. This role involves collaboration with Creative Directors and Project Managers to create high-performing marketing solutions, integrating technical recommendations, and implementing SEO best practices. The position requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, focusing on web design and development within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy digital shelf designs and landing pages for online retailers through CMS platforms
• Design digital media, digital shelf, and landing pages based on retailer guidelines
• Support user experience strategy and innovation
• Integrate small- to mid-scale custom projects using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and other commonly used code
• Provide technical recommendations on all projects
• Consider and implement SEO best practices
• Partner with Creative Directors, Project Managers, and Ad Ops to create high-performing concepts/solutions for consumer marketing efforts
• Seek feedback on designs from team and clients, and iterate designs based on feedback
• Offer recommendations on ways to improve concepts/solutions
• Communicate often, openly, clearly, and respectfully with peers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree associated with Art/Web Design/Development
• 1-2 years' experience with web design, development, and deployment
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in Figma and/or XD
• Working knowledge of common CMS platforms
• Some experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Strong understanding of mobile technologies and responsive web design
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in designing digital shelf for online retailers
