About the position

Lead Designs LLC is seeking an entry-level Associate Interior Designer to join their team in High Point, NC. This full-time position involves collaborating with the Lead Interior Designer to create innovative design solutions for various projects, primarily in the hospitality sector. The role focuses on developing floorplans, selecting design elements, and presenting concepts to clients for approval.

Responsibilities

• Develop floorplans and furniture layouts.
• Work with the Lead Interior Designer to select design elements and develop specifications.
• Submit samples and specifications to franchises for approval.
• Create design/mood boards.
• Present design concepts to clients to obtain approval.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, Sketchup or similar 3D modeling software.
• Strong MS Office Skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Demonstrated understanding of FF&E selection and specification.
• Ability to create space plans and room layouts.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt to frequent changes in priorities.
• Detail oriented with accurate data entry skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of experience in Interior Design (preferred)
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in interior design or equivalent.
