About the position
Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a talented bilingual professional to support the ongoing communications for the development of Diablo Immortal. The candidate will be responsible for translating design documents, providing consecutive interpreting during meetings among game designers, and translating in-game strings from Chinese to English. This role is ideal for a strong communicator in both languages, motivated to work in the dynamic gaming industry, preferably with experience working under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Interpret during meetings between teams, ensuring clear and effective communication among designers
- Facilitate string translation as needed in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with cross-functional teams during projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery
- Respond quickly to urgent requests for translation support
- Ability to meet required deadlines and work independently
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Flexibility to accommodate late-night meetings with international teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in language, communications, or a related field

- Experience with game localization or translation
