About the position

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished goods. This role involves conducting monthly cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, and assisting the production department with purchase orders. The position requires a commitment to ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting production needs in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts monthly cycle counts and reports inventory variances.
• Investigates all losses and gains from the inventory variance report.
• Ensures inventory variances are reconciled.
• Balances the month-end inventory for raw packaging and intermediates.
• Assists the production department with Purchase Orders.
• Substitutes for the Production Office Coordinator when necessary.

Requirements

• 2+ years purchasing or inventory experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic PC and 10-key skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and be understood.

Nice-to-haves

• Food industry experience is preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based upon production demand.
