About the position

The Associate Inventory Manager at Trulieve plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the store's inventory. This position is integral to the operations of the retail department, reporting directly to the General Manager. The Associate Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and processing of product and patient transfers on a daily basis, ensuring that all inventory records are maintained with 100% accuracy. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of state regulations regarding inventory management. The Associate Inventory Manager will also assist in implementing the company's policies and operating procedures related to inventory controls, making recommendations for product overages and shortages as necessary. In addition to daily inventory management tasks, the Associate Inventory Manager will conduct cycle counts and inventory audits, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the integrity of company records. This position requires the ability to analyze and resolve any inventory issues that may arise, as well as to log receipts and documentation to maintain accurate inventory accounts. The Associate Inventory Manager must uphold strict confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards and HIPAA guidelines, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The role demands a proactive approach to inventory management, requiring the Associate Inventory Manager to collect, audit, and file necessary paperwork to ensure state compliance. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and will possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff. Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining 100% accuracy of the store's inventory.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of product and patient transfers daily.
  • Make transfer recommendations for product overages and shortages.
  • Maintain inventory compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze and resolve any inventory issues that arise.
  • Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly as needed.
  • Conduct inventory audits with the General Manager as required.
  • Follow written audit programs and physical inventory to ensure integrity of company records.
  • Log receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts.
  • Assist in scheduling of inventory and compliance personnel as required.
  • Perform system adjustments and participate in root cause analysis for adjustments.
  • Collect, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state compliance.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Well organized with good management and leadership skills.
  • Possess communication, problem-solving, and arithmetic skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening.
