About the position

The Associate Inventory Manager at Factor_, a brand of HelloFresh, plays a crucial role in overseeing daily inventory processes, reporting, and control within the Distribution Center. This position is responsible for managing inventory integrity, which includes measuring the accuracy of inventory transactions and providing feedback to the operations and fulfillment teams. The Associate Inventory Manager will develop and execute action plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis aimed at increasing inventory accuracy and reducing discrepancies. In addition to managing inventory, the Associate Inventory Manager will own the compliance and consistency of policies and procedures related to Inventory Control. This includes executing cycle counts as described in each area of the facility and maintaining proper inventory handling procedures. Collaboration with operations is essential, particularly regarding procedures and processes surrounding the warehouse management system and inventory locations. The role also involves identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies through thorough cause and effect analysis and participating in cross-functional projects that impact inventory management. The Associate Inventory Manager will establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public, ensuring prompt communication of any safety-related issues and concerns. Leadership is a key component of this role, as the Associate Inventory Manager will effectively lead and manage the Inventory and Produce Supervisory team, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Evaluating team productivity and accomplishments is also part of the job, as is building and managing a cohesive team capable of working together under short timelines and ambiguous circumstances. This position may also involve any other functions as determined by management, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory integrity and measure inventory transaction accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment.
  • 2-3 years experience in Inventory Management with proven improvement in a developing environment.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to motivate and coach staff to achieve high-quality results.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated success in team environments on multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Experience implementing change management and process improvement activities.
