About the position

The Associate Inventory Manager at Trulieve plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the store's inventory. This position is responsible for assisting the General Manager in maintaining 100% accuracy of inventory records, overseeing the preparation and processing of product and patient transfers on a daily basis. The Associate Inventory Manager will make transfer recommendations for product overages and shortages, ensuring that all inventory practices comply with state regulations and the company's policies. This role requires a proactive approach to analyzing and resolving any inventory issues that may arise, and all work must be completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. In addition to inventory management, the Associate Inventory Manager will be involved in various key duties including recording inventory, monitoring warehouse transactions such as shipping and receiving, and ensuring that inventory records are always accurate. The position requires performing cycle counts and conducting inventory audits alongside the General Manager as needed. Following written audit programs and physical inventory checks is essential to maintain the integrity of company records. The Associate Inventory Manager will also log receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts and assist in scheduling inventory and compliance personnel as required. This role demands a high level of confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA guidelines. The Associate Inventory Manager must be able to perform system adjustments as required and participate in root cause analysis for any discrepancies, helping to determine and execute corrective actions. Overall, this position is vital for the smooth operation of inventory management within the store, contributing to Trulieve's mission of providing compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in maintaining 100% accuracy of the store's inventory.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of product and patient transfers daily.
  • Make transfer recommendations for product overages and shortages.
  • Maintain inventory compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze and resolve any inventory issues that arise.
  • Record inventory accurately in all phases of production.
  • Monitor warehouse transactions including shipping and receiving, and transfers.
  • Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, or monthly as needed.
  • Conduct inventory audits with the General Manager as required.
  • Follow written audit programs and physical inventory to ensure integrity of company records.
  • Log receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts.
  • Assist in scheduling of inventory and compliance personnel as required.

  • Collect, audit, and file required paperwork to ensure state compliance.

Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Well organized with good management and leadership skills.
  • Possess communication, problem-solving, and arithmetic skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check and drug screening.
