About the position

As an Associate Inventory Manager at Pattern, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and receipts for 7-12 brands. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about data, partner success, and proactive problem-solving. You will be responsible for ensuring that inventory levels are optimized, which is essential for maintaining the supply chain efficiency of our operations. Your success will be measured by key performance indicators such as weeks of supply, inventory turnover, accurate sales forecasting, and in-stock rates. To achieve these goals, you will engage in monthly forecast updates, weekly ordering reviews, and creative problem-solving strategies. In this full-time role, you will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah, and will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. Your daily tasks will include placing weekly orders, executing long-term ordering plans, and providing monthly demand forecasts to the brands you manage. You will also lead brand calls to discuss forecasts and address any supply chain issues that may arise. This position requires a strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to think critically about deviations from forecasts, offering solutions to correct any discrepancies. Responsibilities

  • Place weekly orders for 7-12 brands
  • Execute 3, 6, and 9 month ordering plans for your brands
  • Provide monthly demand sales and receipts forecasts to brands after discussing brand management
  • Align with brand management on ordering strategies implemented by the inventory management team
  • Think critically about deviations from forecast and their implications, offering solutions to correct for deviations
  • Lead brand calls to discuss forecasts, ordering forecasts, and provide solutions to brand supply chain issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Supply/demand planning experience and/or buying experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
  • Operational strategy and experience in ERP systems
  • Ability to be very organized with balancing your calendar against recurring forecasting needs
  • Knowledge of retail KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced eCommerce environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management software
  • Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights
