About the position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking an Associate IT Compliance Analyst to join our compliance team. This role is pivotal in assisting with the evaluation of the company's data privacy risks and supporting the development and implementation of effective solutions to mitigate those risks. The Associate IT Compliance Analyst will analyze basic records, reports, regulations, and operating practices, and will be responsible for reporting on regulatory control adherence. As part of the Technology team, the Associate IT Compliance Analyst will engage in key initiatives surrounding business intelligence, machine learning, continuous integration, and omnichannel strategies. The Associate IT Compliance Analyst will operate and manage the Application Data Protection Program, ensuring compliance evidence is collected for regulatory audits and that assessments are issued in a timely manner. This position will also involve generating reports on compliance findings, assisting in the creation of guidance and training articles, and providing support for data inventories and maps. The role includes conducting data privacy risk and impact assessments, performing security framework audits, and assisting in third-party audits, among other responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the Application Data Protection Program, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Assist in compliance evidence collection for regulation audits.
  • Ensure appropriate assessments are issued on time and support the business with completing assessments.
  • Generate reports on compliance findings.
  • Assist in the creation of guidance and training articles to enable the use of the system and completion of assessments across the business.
  • Provide support for data inventories and maps.
  • Assist in conducting data privacy risk and impact assessments.
  • Conduct Security Framework Audits (CIS, PCI, SOC I/II).
  • Conduct IT Policy Audits for adherence.
  • Assist in Application/Website Compliance Testing.
  • Assist in any Third-Party Audits, including services with reputational scoring (Security Scorecard).
  • Work with other Analysts to manage Vendor Risk assessments and report on risks or gaps in dependencies.
  • Support in the auditing of cookie classifications and adherence for select externally-facing websites.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Information Security or related field, or year for year directly related experience.
  • 1 year experience in IT risk management, audit, or security with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and communicate with all personnel across the business, including senior management.
  • Ability to focus on smaller details while retaining awareness of the bigger picture.
