Associate, Java Developer - New York

About the position

We're looking for an Operations - Exchange Onboarding Engineer to support our Core Systems, Settlement and Custody team. You will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of critical software applications that facilitate settlement and custody operations. This role requires a strong understanding of Java development principles, as well as familiarity with settlement and custody processes within the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop inventory management tool
• Apply principles of Domain Driven Design
• Build resilient, self-healing distributed services

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional programming experience in the financial services industry
• Experience with dependency injections frameworks, ideally: Spring
• Full lifecycle development of a commercial system, including requirements definition, agile planning, releasing, and production support
• Core Java (version 8.0 and above)
• JPA
• Java Framework: either Vert.x or Spring
