Ipsos is seeking an experienced Paralegal (Associate Legal Analyst) to join our North American legal team. This role is crucial in maintaining organization within the department and addressing contractual matters for our US and Canadian clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining agreements and files for the North American legal department, supporting attorneys with drafting and reviewing statements of work (SOWs) and nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), and assisting with various administrative duties. This position will act as the first point of contact for the legal department with our North American business teams, ensuring smooth communication and workflow. Key responsibilities include maintaining a department workflow log that tracks incoming and outgoing matters, assigning tasks to attorneys, and monitoring the status of these matters through to completion. The Associate Legal Analyst will also prepare Service Level reports, provide information to commercial teams regarding available forms and processes, and review and negotiate client and vendor NDAs and SOWs. Additionally, the role involves creating and improving standard forms, processes, and policies, tracking the progress of commercial and litigation matters, and assisting the Group General Counsel in optimizing procedures for the North American legal team. The position requires filing documentation related to corporate records and assisting with a variety of other day-to-day legal, administrative, and clerical matters as needed. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working on commercial contracts in a major law firm or in-house legal department, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field, and excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
