About The Position

The Associate-Level Design and Analysis Engineer at Boeing will contribute to the development, testing, and qualification of avionics software for the C-17 platform. This role involves creating solutions to operational and logistical challenges, delivering innovative solutions, and working as part of a team to meet system requirements and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 1+ years of experience with generating Engineering Validation Test procedures and reports.
• 2+ years of experience with software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with industry tools such as DOORS, clearcase, or GIT.
• Experience programming with C#, C++, ADA, Python.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Works under general direction.
• Performs other duties as assigned and may be requested to support other programs as needed.
