About the position

The Associate Machine Learning DevOps Engineer Intern at ServiceNow is a pivotal role focused on enabling AI teams through software delivery, observability, deployments, and platform engineering solutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on deploying and operating large language model (LLM)-based solutions at a global scale, contributing to the advancement of AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

• Design Helm charts and code for global deployments of next-generation AI solutions.
• Build operational tooling to enable smooth operations of AI workloads.
• Participate in data collection and create benchmarks.
• Develop innovative patentable ideas to ensure product competitiveness.
• Advance the natural language capabilities of the ServiceNow platform.
• Write, test, and debug high-quality code using Python.
• Implement web interfaces using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, and CSS.
• Leverage structured and unstructured data to enhance customer workflows.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, graduating no earlier than December 2025.
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning/Deep Learning theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
• Solid practical experience in designing and building machine learning/deep learning solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Python, JavaScript, and operating systems (e.g., Linux).
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, and deploying to distributed systems.
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications is a plus.
• Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Natural Language Understanding (NLU) based solutions is a plus.
