About the position

The Associate Manager, Account Payable at SC Johnson is responsible for leading the global employee travel and expense program, focusing on the Concur expense tool across 50+ countries. This role involves managing global policy and process governance, providing functional support to the North America Accounts Payable team, and contributing to various global and regional projects. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to influence and lead change initiatives while ensuring compliance with policies and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the SCJ global employee travel and expense program as the tool administrator for Concur.
  • Manage global policy and process governance, reporting, metrics, and Concur system configuration.
  • Provide functional and technical support to the NA Accounts Payable team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in global and regional projects relevant to NA AP and contribute to special assignments.
  • Serve as the point of accountability for global travel & expense governance, process design, strategy, and policy.
  • Audit and analyze T&E annual spend, providing executives with reports and policy reviews.
  • Contribute to global and regional projects related to AP systems and integration of new activities.
  • Provide coaching and support to users of SAP and other tools, acting as a point of escalation for incidents.
  • Maintain and update training materials for Accounts Payable and ensure proper training is provided to team members.
  • Collaborate with AP Team Leads to ensure adherence to policies and timely execution of SOAR Self-Assessments and Audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field (Accounting preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable and financial processes.
  • Extensive experience with SAP and Concur or other Global Travel & Expense tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a global business environment.
  • Ability to influence and lead change initiatives.
