About the position

The Associate Manager of Accounting Integration at Siemens will play a crucial role in integrating newly acquired entities into the Siemens framework, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards. This position involves managing the full consolidation, purchase price allocation, and policy alignment of these entities while providing insightful information to management. The role requires collaboration with various departments and offers opportunities for growth in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the global integration of newly acquired businesses into Siemens' accounting processes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all accounting topics in the integration project.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including finance, reporting, tax, and legal.
  • Support the deployment of ERP systems and finance reporting tools.
  • Ensure overall project success while managing detailed integration steps.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent proven accounting experience.
  • CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong accounting and valuation knowledge with analytical skills.
  • Experience with mergers and integrations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise and strategic judgment.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is an additional consideration.
