About The Position

Henry Schein One is seeking an Associate Manager of Accounting to join our team in American Fork, Utah. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining and executing the company's accounting and internal control functions. The Associate Manager will supervise all transactions related to the general ledger, payables, tax payments, revenue recognition, and prepaid expenses. This position will also aid senior accounting and finance management in department planning and results management, ensuring that the accounting team meets its monthly close and accounts payable functions efficiently. In this role, you will lead the full cycle accounting month-end close process, which includes reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for Axium ULC. You will be responsible for reviewing accounts payable activities, ensuring sufficient funding at the bank, and overseeing payroll schedules to guarantee the accuracy of payroll processing. Additionally, you will conduct quarterly SOX testing and complete HFM roll forwards for month-end reporting. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with the HS Canada Controller and the corporate HS tax department on monthly and quarterly tax entries and reporting. You will also prepare support documents and coordinate with external auditors on annual tax returns and transfer pricing studies. Mentoring and supervising a team of two accountants will be a significant part of your responsibilities, as you guide them through various accounting tasks and ensure high performance within the team.
