About the position

As an integral part of the PEOPLE Brand Marketing team, you will support the go-to-market pre-sale process and play a strategic role in developing brand strategy and driving revenue growth with advertising partners across print, digital, social, video and events. You'll help develop impactful marketing programs, working alongside Vertical Marketing, Digital Sales, Print Sales, and Strategic Account teams to ensure our offerings effectively drive revenue growth. This position is hybrid in-office in NYC, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Brand development, including creating new brand opportunities and updating brand sales materials for franchises, tentpoles and partnerships
  • Assisting with post-sale execution for advertiser programs tied to PEOPLE tentpoles, partnerships or franchises
  • Researching relevant industry, media and category trends, sharing your findings with the team and using these tools to inform ideas
  • Assist in GTM strategy and packaging with internal teams to develop, create, and package go-to-market materials
  • Create presentations and sell sheets that communicate PEOPLE's unique value proposition to advertising clients across all verticals
  • Bring new opportunities to brainstorms and team meetings that are grounded in the DNA of our brand
  • Execute added value programs that drive revenue impact, such as in-book listings, eblasts, custom research questions and sampling opportunities
  • Help marketing team with ongoing maintenance and creation of go-to-market materials such as brand and category presentations, one-sheets and more
  • Help coordinate special projects and team organization tools to help keep the team organized in the day to day

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience, integrated multi-platform marketing experience preferred
  • Experience developing brand sales materials also preferred
  • Excellent creative writing and storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Keynote and Powerpoint)
  • Excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Self-motivator who has a desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
