About the position

The Associate Manager, Email & SMS Marketing is responsible for supporting retention programs and managing all aspects of email and messaging marketing for Direct-To-Consumer channels. This role focuses on enhancing the existing marketing strategy through increased segmentation, personalization, and database acquisition, while acting as a liaison between various stakeholders to drive online sales and customer lifetime value.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the email process workflow and develop the email calendar in collaboration with E-commerce and Merchandising teams.
  • Oversee the execution of retention marketing programs, focusing primarily on email and SMS campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Design teams to create engaging content and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Enhance email segmentation and personalization strategies through testing and analysis.
  • Conduct multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance and customer retention.
  • Continuously monitor channel performance against KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Work with analytics teams to identify marketing opportunities and inform future CRM initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a multi-channel environment.
  • Experience overseeing an Email Marketing team and managing daily email campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of email fundamentals, including CAN-SPAM requirements and performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of HTML and email design best practices for various devices.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on metrics and ROI analysis.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experience with email service providers and reporting tools.
