About the position

As an Associate Manager in Finance at Stryker Corporation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting function for Flex US. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting, providing financial reports with variance analysis, and maintaining adherence to corporate finance policies. You will also identify opportunities for process improvement, provide technical accounting support, and act as a key finance partner to the Flex US business unit, contributing to strategic growth and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting function for Flex US, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close and financial reporting.
• Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis, to the Flex US Controller and leadership team.
• Ensure adherence to corporate finance policies by supporting the maintenance of internal controls and reviewing account reconciliations.
• Support operational excellence initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve and standardize financial processes within Flex US.
• Provide technical accounting support and guidance on complex transactions (e.g., revenue recognition criteria).
• Perform account reconciliations and financial compliance reviews for high-risk transactions associated with customer contracts.
• Execute balance sheet reviews timely and accurately to mitigate/resolve any P&L risk for Flex US and commercial divisions.
• Act as a key finance partner to the Flex US business unit, providing insights to support key business decisions and strategic growth.
• Collaborate with divisional finance leadership to understand business needs and effectively communicate associated P&L risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years of professional experience in general accounting or finance.
