About the position

The Associate Manager, Integration-Healthcare Deployment and Change Management position at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Inc. d/b/a Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside is a full-time role located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is part of the Supply Chain Management department and focuses on enhancing the resource and supply chain functions within healthcare. The Resource Group, a subsidiary of Ascension, is dedicated to transforming healthcare by delivering value through effective resource management and fostering a culture of hospitality. The Associate Manager will play a crucial role in the Change Management Solution, which aims to sustain value for participants through direct engagement, clear communication, and collaboration across various organizational levels, including C-suite representation. In this role, the Associate Manager will lead facility-level business reviews and meetings with local leadership and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. They will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting local supply and purchased services savings, as well as developing support tools using advanced technical skills for implementation support and performance metrics tracking. The Associate Manager will also support the Integration team with case cost analysis to aid market service line and clinical leaders in developing operational savings targets and growth strategies. Collaboration with the local Integration team is essential to achieve local goals and savings targets through analytics, project planning, strategic communication, and tactical assistance. Additionally, the Associate Manager will support the recruitment, training, and mentoring of new team members, including summer interns.

Responsibilities

  • Leads facility-level business reviews and meetings with local leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment to meet business objectives.
  • Leads in the identification, documentation, and reporting of local supply and purchased services savings.
  • Develops support tools using advanced technical skills for implementation support, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics for supply expense improvement initiatives.
  • Supports Integration team with case cost analysis to support market service line and clinical leaders in development of operational savings targets and department growth strategies.
  • Collaborates with the local Integration team to achieve local goals and savings targets through analytics, project planning, strategic communication, and tactical assistance.
  • Supports the recruitment, training and mentoring of new team members, to include summer Interns.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves
