About the position

The Associate Manager for Portfolio Administration is responsible for leading and developing the Portfolio Administration Team within Flex Financial. This role involves overseeing customer consumable purchase tracking, compliance reporting, and ensuring timely lender payments. The Associate Manager will also handle escalations, manage hiring and training, and develop success metrics for the department, providing regular reports to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of the remote Portfolio Administration team
• Maintain and develop standardized policies and procedures for usage payments
• Train and develop Usage Portfolio Administrators
• Communicate and implement policy or procedure changes
• Measure and report metrics for the functional group
• Assist in developing and implementing new products and services
• Resolve conflict and address escalated issues
• Evaluate employee performance based on established parameters
• Coach and develop direct reports
• Ensure compliance with company policy and corrective actions
• Partner with IT on projects to build automation into processes
• Represent Flex Financial on Stryker projects impacting consumable purchase tracking
• Submit periodic reports on assigned topics to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years professional work experience
• Ability to write detailed policies and specific work instructions
• Experience with change management
• Ability to analyze and resolve non-routine issues using independent judgment
• Ability to set direction and lead others
• Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflict
• Willingness to assist in developing tools and training that create capacity
