About the position

The Associate Manager, Production Control Warehouse Operations at Tesla is responsible for establishing and managing the spare parts and inventory control programs within the Fremont manufacturing ecosystem. This role requires a candidate who can develop processes from the ground up and refine existing systems, ensuring efficient inventory management to support production-critical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Manufacturing Spare Parts Inventory and inventory control system for the Fremont Ecosystem
• Work with Manufacturing Operations team members and OEMs to identify appropriate levels of min and max material inventory
• Organize logical parts identification and storage
• Regularly audit inventory levels and interact with external vendors and internal procurement personnel
• Develop and update the Manufacturing Operations budget tracker
• Organize and maintain purchase orders, work requests, and associated files

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in a maintenance distribution or manufacturing environment
• Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems
• Experience setting up inventory systems from scratch
• Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
