About the position

The Associate Manager, Regional Sales for SMB Emerging Accounts at Samsung Semiconductor plays a crucial role in driving revenue and managing customer relationships within the Emerging Accounts and SMB team. This position involves identifying new opportunities, developing existing accounts, and collaborating closely with outside sales representatives and technical teams. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of accounts and products, providing significant opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership over selected accounts within the Emerging/SMB portfolio, managing monthly forecasting, pricing negotiations, product support, and general account management activities.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance for Samsung Outside Sales Reps (OSR's) to run day-to-day business and identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinate with HQ sales (Korea) and local marketing for pricing, supply, and other needs, developing strong relationships with both the internal team and customers.
  • Work with Business Enablement and Product Planning teams to convey roadmap information to customers and ensure strong technical support.
  • Create and manage short-term forecasting with sales reps, provide long-term forecasts, and Voice of the Customer (VOC) market data to sales and marketing management.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech sales, ideally in Memory and/or Storage
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
