About the position

The Associate Manager for Residential Solar Programs at Connecticut Green Bank will oversee the management of closed portfolios of residential solar lease and loan projects. This role involves extensive communication with homeowners and various stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of solar programs, addressing issues related to performance, financial calculations, and contract management. The position is integral to promoting clean energy investment in Connecticut and enhancing community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with homeowners to address program and system-related questions.
• Managing the resolution of lease or loan related issues, including property damage and warranties.
• Tracking and reporting payment delinquencies, write-offs, and terminations.
• Performing financial calculations and cost/benefit analyses for decision making.
• Coordinating with O&M providers on system repairs and ensuring completion of deliverables.
• Leading financing agreement-related activities, including transfers and terminations.
• Drafting and reviewing work orders and contracts for system repairs.
• Monitoring and submitting program-related invoices and payment requests.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-7 years of relevant work experience in managing residential solar projects.
• Familiarity with residential solar terms, particularly solar leases and loans.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining solar system performance to homeowners.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
