About the position

The Associate Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations at DoorDash plays a crucial role in enhancing sales productivity and driving strategic initiatives within the US Pre-Sales team. This position focuses on developing go-to-market strategies, optimizing revenue, and ensuring effective resource allocation to support the sales and partner management teams in achieving their goals. The role requires collaboration across various departments to build a strong merchant foundation and implement efficient operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the future of US Pre-Sales Restaurant Acquisition.
  • Scope tests and experiments on adoption and optimization.
  • Drive tactical day-to-day operations and implement improvements to optimize business impact.
  • Work with Merchant, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams to scale business impact.
  • Build and execute the Vendor strategy for Global Sales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong cross-functional business experience and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and working with large data sets in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experience managing external B2B partnerships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced technology or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with sales operations and strategy development.
