About the position

The Associate Manager for the Red Hat Developer Hub (RHDH) Plugins and AI team will oversee a team of engineers focused on delivering Developer AI solutions. This role involves managing team dynamics, guiding professional development, and ensuring the successful execution of projects in a fast-paced technological environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a team of technically skilled engineers covering RHDH Plugins and AI solutions
• Own the development and delivery of RHDH Plugins and AI solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders and peers to achieve various deliverables
• Manage stakeholder expectations
• Continuously promote and guide the professional and personal development of your team
• Design/Implement team related strategic improvements
• Maintain a high level of employee engagement within your team
• Enable the team to work in an Agile setup

Requirements

• Previous hands-on coding experience as Senior Software Engineer or above
• Very good communication skills
• Proven ability to learn and apply new skills and processes rapidly and coach others
• Demonstrated leadership experience with solid customer focus
• Ability to identify and grow potential in team members
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, prioritize, and work well under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with AI space is a plus
