About the position

The role is focused on leading strategic initiatives for DoorDash for Business, aiming to expand its offerings and enhance its position as a premier benefits partner for businesses. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth, collaborating with various teams, and navigating ambiguous environments to create structured solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and prioritize them by impact to create solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Execute short and long-term plans by working directly with internal and external partners.
• Develop and lead 0 to 1 opportunities, creating a roadmap for future business initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Operations, Product, Sales, and Engineering to develop new products and services.
• Navigate ambiguous environments and create structure for undefined opportunities.
• Leverage data to inform hypotheses and align cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; high-growth startup experience preferred.
• Ability to excel as both a generalist and specialist, building overarching strategies while diving deep into specific issues.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and achieving goals in complex environments.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to build models from complex datasets; intermediate SQL experience required.
• Customer-obsessed with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of developing plans without predefined playbooks.
• BA/BS degree in quantitative or business fields.
