About the position

The Marketing Manager position at IEEE is focused on managing and implementing marketing plans to drive sales of existing and newly launched products in the corporate sector and new markets. This role involves coordinating marketing activities with various teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Creative Design, to ensure effective promotion and communication of product offerings. The position is critical for the growth of sales and revenue and offers a full-time opportunity with potential for hybrid remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing plans and strategies in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager for the Corporate Sector.
  • Manage multiple marketing activities to generate awareness, interest, and sales leads for new products.
  • Oversee a variety of marketing projects with internal and external teams to support product launches.
  • Create and manage innovative marketing campaigns targeting prospects, including messaging and landing pages.
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide necessary marketing support and materials.
  • Manage communication channels to deliver relevant product news through various platforms.
  • Develop, implement, track, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Coordinate special events to promote products and attend conferences to gain market insights.
  • Update product websites with the latest news and information.
  • Ensure alignment of collateral, messaging, and websites for marketing programs.
  • Monitor, review, and report on campaign results, making recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or a Technology-related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of experience in brand or product marketing, digital marketing, or demand generation, preferably in B2B or industry marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience with email marketing campaigns and marketing automation software, with a strong preference for Marketo experience.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to seek out technology solutions for business challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and customers.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with vendor management and developing marketing plans.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's or other advanced degree in technology or marketing.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of HTML.
