About the position
The Associate Material Handler role is a full-time position within the Logistics & Warehouse department, focused on performing essential material handling functions. The position emphasizes meeting productivity and accuracy goals while supporting the business strategy through various tasks related to material handling.
Responsibilities
- Reading pick tickets and work orders and picking parts according to quantities listed on the pick ticket.
- Visually identifying parts in location per description and part number, placing product in totes, and labeling totes for the next destination.
- Reporting insufficient quantities in location or equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to management.
- Completing basic dunnage functions.
Requirements
- The ability to read, write, and speak English.
- 18+ years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrate the ability to match part numbers.
- Demonstrate the ability to enter data within systems.
- Basic proficiency in navigating the Internet and/or computer systems to locate information.
