The Associate Merchandise Financial Planner at Leslie's Pool Supplies plays a crucial role in developing merchandise plans that drive growth and profitability. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to analyze business performance, identify sales opportunities, and implement strategic action plans. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can synthesize data insights and communicate effectively across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business performance on a weekly basis and assist with the development and implementation of action plans that align with strategic priorities.
• Partner and support the Merchandise Financial Planner.
• Develop seasonal plans that maximize financial performance and inventory turnover.
• Maintain weekly forecasts for sales, margin, inventory, and receipts.
• Ensure Inventory Planners and Category Directors are aware of OTB positions before committing to buys.
• Integrate merchandising strategies/initiatives into plans and forecasts.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree or College Certificate or Diploma in business management or related field.
• Inventory management and ability to operate a computerized inventory system.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of Retail Math concepts.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing environment.
