About The Position

Forward Focus Counseling, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) to join our small, busy private practice in Huntington Beach, CA. This part-time internship role offers the opportunity to provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health diagnoses, including trauma and grief. The position allows for flexible scheduling and the chance to quickly obtain hours towards licensure, with a supportive environment and paid supervision.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• AAMFT or APCC registration number on resume.
• EMDR Certification is a plus.
• Commitment to completing a minimum of 20+ client hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
