About the position

The Associate Operations Manager at Ambulnz CO, LLC is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day operations of EMTs and other EMS workers. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining communication among staff, and providing training and development to team members. The position requires open availability, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate shift day-to-day operations of the EMTs and other EMS workers as directed
  • Maintain constant up-to-date knowledge and records of all current protocols issued by all regulatory agencies pertaining to ambulance services
  • Ensure the security of all company property at your station
  • Ensure proper communication of all Field Operations directives to all staff members timely and effectively
  • Work with management staff to ensure continuity, consistency, and strong lines of communication
  • Monitor operations to ensure that all personnel comply with company policies and procedures
  • Provide training, coaching and development to assigned staff
  • Facilitate feedback, performance assessments and corrective action
  • Aid Leadership in assuring all paperwork is turned in and completed in a timely manner (i.e. check sheets, PCR, DAT, RX, EMS, etc.)
  • Ensure quality and productivity of EMTs performance through driving evaluations and counseling
  • Schedule EMTs as necessary to fit business demands and ensure operational efficiency
  • Recommend effective changes to schedule for selected employees to fit demands as necessary
  • Generate employee productivity and satisfaction reports to the appropriate stakeholders in the business
  • Work closely with dispatch team members to ensure proper executions of dispatching policies and procedures
  • Make recommendations to improve operational efficiency
  • Maintain company compliance with OSHA regulation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License (for at least 2 years) with an acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)
  • Staff scheduling experience
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, & organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
