About The Position

The Associate Operator position at dsm-firmenich involves performing various operational functions within the production department to support production goals and maintain quality standards. This role emphasizes safety and operational efficiency in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• High degree of manual dexterity and good mechanical and technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operation of process equipment and utilities, including changing process conditions and monitoring process conditions.
• Determining drum speed to regulate moisture levels and adjusting as required.
• Calculating feed rate to control the nip level of products in the drum.
• Taking dryer readings every 4-6 hours and recording results.
• Tallying the number of bags disposed at the end of the shift.
• Summing the number of bags on a pallet at the end of the run.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
