About the position

The Associate Partnership and Event Manager plays a crucial role in planning and executing key events, activations, and partnerships for Rocket Mortgage. This position ensures that all contractual obligations are met and that event objectives are achieved, contributing to the company's innovative approach to the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conceptualizing, planning and executing events/activations from start to finish
  • Work with internal teams and outside vendors to execute on events
  • Track event timelines
  • Review and filter incoming sponsorship and donation requests
  • Maintain and track event budgets ensuring all contracting, invoicing and payments are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends and share resources with the team
  • Assist with the tracking and documentation of partnership metrics

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in event planning or sponsorship activation
  • Strong attention to detail and level of organization
  • Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to think creatively to introduce new ideas for events and activations
  • Skilled problem-solver
  • Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to achieve results
  • Capable of working on several projects at once
  • Ability to work within a budget and often within tight timelines

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Sponsorship Activation, Communications or related field
