About the position

The Associate Personal Banker at Elevations Credit Union plays a crucial role in providing account services and financial guidance to members and prospective members. This position is designed to create exceptional experiences for members by delivering high-quality service and exploring relevant financial solutions. The role involves engaging with members, handling account maintenance, and fostering professional relationships to enhance member acquisition and revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with members and prospective members to provide account services and financial guidance.
• Engage members using the PEAK'T Service model to explore relevant solutions and refer to internal partners.
• Originate consumer lending applications and identify internal partner referral opportunities.
• Handle account maintenance needs such as opening and closing accounts, online banking support, and fee refunds.
• Process transactions including account deposits, cash handling, withdrawals, and payments.
• Develop and foster professional relationships with members and within the community to increase member acquisition and generate revenue.
• Demonstrate operational excellence through adherence to established policies, procedures, and processes.
• Adhere to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of consultative sales/service experience.
• 1+ years of Financial Institution experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Current notary or receives certification within 90 days of employment.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Consumer and business lending experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.
