About The Position

The Associate Portfolio Manager at BlueBay Fixed Income is responsible for assisting the Investment Grade Portfolio Managers in the daily management of Investment Grade portfolios. This role involves analyzing alpha sources to provide investment recommendations and generate alpha for portfolios, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines, and maintaining effective communication with various teams to support portfolio management activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of relatable experience in portfolio management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present and communicate materials effectively to facilitate decision-making.
• High standards of performance and integrity in line with company principles.

• Good rapport-building skills and ability to work cooperatively with others.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Bloomberg and Charles River systems.
• Knowledge of investment risk management and performance measurement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exposure levels and ensure funds are within specific guidelines, flagging issues to Portfolio Managers.
• Ensure accurate hedging of funds and check interest rate duration consistency across funds.
• Input trades into Charles River and Bloomberg, ensuring accurate booking prior to execution.
• Rebalance funds for subscriptions and redemptions.
• Update daily performance files in collaboration with the Finance team and check daily pricing with the Pricing team.
• Prepare month-end data for the marketing team.
• Liaise with Operations and Trade Execution on trade queries.
• Support the maintenance of systems, databases, and tools for credit analysis.
