About the position

The Associate, Portfolio Solutions at HAUSER is a vital role focused on data analysis and project management to support private equity firm clients. This position involves analyzing data, managing projects, and providing insights to enhance portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with high-level executives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for portfolio performance improvement.
  • Manage and oversee projects related to portfolio solutions, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Support and maintain strong partnerships with assigned private equity firms through exceptional service and consultation.
  • Assist in the delivery of Hauser solutions including insurance, employee benefits, retirement, and due diligence consulting.
  • Liaise between due diligence teams and broker teams in the transition of insurance and employee benefits business.
  • Report to private equity firm management on the performance of their portfolio company insurance programs, benefits plans, and retirement accounts.
  • Partner with Hauser due diligence teams to conduct ongoing risk management consulting solutions for select private equity firms.
  • Support sales growth and other key performance goals through collaboration with the M&A due diligence team and private equity partners.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in next-generation self-funded employee benefits offerings.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to develop sales strategies specific to employee benefits.
  • Maintain constant communication internally and externally to ensure satisfaction and production.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in data analysis, project management, insurance, and/or benefits and risk management required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data science, or a related field.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with a private equity firm or servicing private equity firms.
  • Prior experience servicing c-level risk management or human resources.
