About the position

The Associate Principal - Architecture role at LTIMindtree involves leading a team of developers to build and enhance the Application Development Platform, primarily utilizing Java technologies. This position requires collaboration with various development teams to define strategic directions and tactical plans, ensuring alignment with business needs. The role also includes hands-on contributions to critical projects, translating business requirements into functional components, and implementing changes to improve processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Developers in building out the Application Development Platform.
• Collaborate with Development Teams to identify patterns and strategies for the Platform team.
• Define strategic direction and develop tactical plans.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams to provision platform components.
• Augment critical projects through direct involvement and hands-on contributions.
• Translate business requirements into foundational components for the platform.
• Identify opportunities for change and implement new concepts, procedures, and tools.
• Work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 15 years of overall relevant experience.
• 3 years of experience managing a team.
• 10 years of experience in Java and Fullstack systems design and development.
• 10 years of experience in Microservices architecture.
• 3 years of experience with API Gateways.
• 3 years of experience with Messaging PubSub and Point-to-Point systems.
• 5 years of experience with Service Buses such as Apache Camel, Apache Nifi, or Apache Storm.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kafka.
• AWS Architect certification or similar.
