About the position

The Associate - Process Management role at Capital One is essential for driving operational excellence within the Community Finance Loan & Equity Operations team. This position focuses on ensuring a well-managed environment for all processes, enhancing customer experience, and contributing to the organization's success through innovation and effective execution. The Associate Process Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative activities related to loan closing, booking, funding, and equity administration, while also ensuring accuracy in loan transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative activities related to loan closing, booking, funding, and equity administration.
  • Ensure accuracy of loan and LIHTC equity asset transactions from closing through payoff.
  • Analyze complex documents and provide solutions to issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the company and influence others.
  • Drive change and innovation within the team to enhance operational execution.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Bank or Loan Operations, or Quality Assurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Lending Operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Community Development Loan and Equity Administration.
