About the position

The Associate Process Project Engineer at Nestlé Health Science is responsible for learning and developing skills in the design of processing and packaging equipment, focusing on safety, quality, and line performance. This role involves providing technical support to team members and factory staff, driving continuous improvement projects, and assisting in the implementation of Asset Maintenance Management systems to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of the Engineering Projects & Process to execute projects with minimal supervision.
  • Lead and/or participate in small scale shop floor studies by collecting data, analyzing it, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations to improve productivity and efficiencies.
  • Handle confidential information exchange with third parties according to business practices.
  • Build and document knowledge around industry standards such as GMP, food safety, hygienic engineering, FDA, etc.
  • Provide accurate and on-time support to operations with effective, sustainable solutions regarding quality, cost, and timeliness.
  • Work cross-functionally and effectively communicate ideas and findings both orally and in writing.
  • Follow and uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment policies and procedures as pertains to the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, food, or chemical engineering (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality, safety, and hygiene requirements.
