The Associate Product Designer at KiwiCo will play a crucial role in supporting the design and content initiatives of the company, which focuses on creating engaging and educational products for children. Responsibilities

• Support content and design initiatives for KiwiCo Education.
• Design products from concept to manufacturing.
• Create prototypes using various making tools such as laser cutting and 3D printing.
• Conduct research on a wide range of topics to inform product design.
• Collaborate with Content, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design from concept to manufacturing.
• Strong prototyping skills and proficiency with making tools.
• Background in a STEM field with a solid understanding of physics principles.
• Passion for hands-on learning and educational content for children.
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience teaching STEM concepts to children.
• Experience in creating online video content.
• Experience working on a collaborative creative team.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (Solidworks or Fusion360).
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
