About the position

The Associate Product Developer for the Robots App & Behavior at SharkNinja will play a crucial role in supporting the Shark Robots Business by developing successful and profitable programs for key products, particularly focusing on the Shark app. This position requires expertise in the app and competitive landscape, assisting the New Product Development team in creating features that cater to connected device consumers. The role emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and the ability to drive product management activities throughout various stages of the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with product management activities for new product launches, product improvements, optimizations, and line extensions.
  • Support the app product roadmap through growth, active, and end-of-life stages by providing cross-functional support to resolve product, quality, manufacturing, and customer challenges.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer needs and market gaps and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Track product and app performance, communicating key learnings and developments to appropriate workflows for action.
  • Evaluate product optimization and improvement opportunities for consumer impact.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teammates to convey the strategic vision and goals for the app as a function of the product line.
  • Maximize the value of the app/product line and align with cross-functional teams to ensure successful positioning in the marketplace.
  • Work with Product Managers for program launch and execution analysis while maintaining proper feedback to close open initiatives.
  • Manage the creation and execution of product support material, such as in-box collateral, FAQs, How-to Videos, and Troubleshooting scripts for online resources and call center agents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Business, Management, Communications, or Marketing Concentrations.
  • 1+ years of experience in product development/marketing preferably at a consumer goods company.
  • Experience working with consumer-facing software and/or apps, particularly in an environment responsible for app requirement creation and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SharePoint is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-impact environment.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to be a team player as well as work independently.
