About the position

The Associate Product Led Account Executive at MongoDB is an entry-level sales role focused on managing the complete sales process and driving revenue growth within a designated region. The position emphasizes proactive sales strategies, relationship building, and collaboration with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline
  • Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & developers
  • Become a product expert and understand all components of MongoDB
  • Manage time efficiently to maximize productivity
  • Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
  • Partner with Solution Architects and Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Participate in sales enablement trainings, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of field experience in quota-carrying roles in a fast-paced and competitive market
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and generate qualified pipeline
  • Proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Skilled in building business champions
  • Fluent in English
  • Must reside in the territory (Austin, TX)
  • Driven and competitive with a strong desire to succeed
  • Familiarity with databases, development, and open source technology is a plus

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous sales development experience
  • Passionate about growing a career in the software market (database)
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
