About the position

The Associate, Product Line role at New Era Cap LLC is designed to provide transactional support to the Apparel Product Development team. This position focuses on the development and creation of compelling product solutions while coordinating go-to-market efforts across various departments. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful product launches and effective management of product information.

Responsibilities

  • Support Merchandising processes and communications
  • Assist in the management of organizational tools that coordinate product launch initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with the Licensed Sports Categories to coordinate product launch needs
  • Execute sample processes for all sales samples required by the Merchandising team
  • Work cross-functionally with the Customer Relations and Sourcing teams to ensure samples are ordered and received per development calendars
  • Support all SAP related system reporting requirements as directed
  • Coordinate Material ID set up and creation within product lifecycle system
  • Input product information into product lifecycle system
  • Engage global product teams to communicate product information where needed
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Management, Planning or related field required
  • Zero (0) to One (1) year of experience in a professional business setting
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to establish relationships and interact with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritize workday to maximize productivity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active, and positive attitude
  • Ability to be innovative and creative when handling difficult business challenges

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of sportswear, headwear, or apparel industry preferred
