The Product Line Manager, Jr. position at Amphenol Corporation is an early career opportunity focused on developing and marketing next-generation power products, particularly in the Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle (EV) sectors. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, facilitate product strategy, and promote the Power Solutions portfolio. This remote position is based in the Dallas, TX area and requires a blend of business acumen and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with field sales teams to identify requirements and understand market trends in Energy Storage System (ESS) and EV space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, business development, and operations) to identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements.
- Create product introduction materials and slides for market launch.
- Present and promote the Power Solutions portfolio to help field teams understand positioning, benefits, and target customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering required.
- Product Management or engineering experience in battery, energy storage systems, power electronics, or electrical systems preferred.
- Interest and knowledge of energy storage systems architecture, battery management and control systems, battery modules, and charging technologies preferred.
- Interest in battery standards or charging standards preferred.
- Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel both domestically (frequently) and internationally (occasionally).
