About the position

The Associate Product Manager for Digital & Marketing at Walgreens is responsible for the development and management of small and/or basic initiatives aimed at driving traffic, conversion, revenue growth, and profitability for the online channel. This role requires close collaboration with IT, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to ensure that product management activities align with the overall business strategy. The Associate Product Manager may have full accountability for smaller products or product enhancements, conducting technical and market research to support product managers in their efforts. In this position, the Associate Product Manager will identify and resolve issues within the assigned product area that may hinder the team's ability to meet its goals. Working closely with the engineering technology team and user interface designers, the Associate Product Manager will define detailed key product requirements. A critical aspect of this role involves identifying and quantifying customer segments with strong growth potential, creating business cases for targeting these segments, and coordinating the work of cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. The Associate Product Manager will also measure and analyze the impact of existing pricing and functionality, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement that provide additional benefits to customers. Building strong internal cross-functional relationships is essential for driving implementation and achieving goals. Additionally, the role involves conducting business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on product performance. Staying informed about industry best practices in eCommerce and building vendor relationships is crucial. The Associate Product Manager must understand how technological advancements can drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction, keeping up to date with all new product launches in the online space. Responsibilities

  • Support product management activities for one or more products.
  • Conduct technical and market research to support product managers.

  • Work closely with engineering technology team and user interface designers to define detailed key product requirements.
  • Identify and quantify customer segments with strong growth potential and create business cases for targeting.
  • Coordinate the work of cross-functional teams and manage ROI to ensure benefits outweigh costs.

  • Identify industry best practices in eCommerce and build vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of product management experience in online technology, or High School/GED and at least 4 years of product management experience in online technology.
  • At least 1 year of experience in consumer-facing online commerce.
  • At least 1 year of experience in product marketing, product/program management, business development, and/or management consulting.
  • Experience working with product development lifecycle.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results.
