About the position

The Associate Downstream Product Manager at Teleflex is responsible for executing marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System, a minimally invasive treatment for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and key customers to drive product adoption and utilization, ensuring effective positioning and messaging in the competitive healthcare market.

Responsibilities

  • Execute specific marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System to enhance product placement.
  • Monitor competitive activity, identify customer needs, and recommend pricing strategies.
  • Design strategies to maximize product line profitability through collaboration and market research.
  • Determine priorities for new product development and enhancements based on customer needs.
  • Create promotional plans consistent with product line strategy and messaging.
  • Recommend strategies for successful product launches, including marketing materials.
  • Execute new product launch strategic planning in collaboration with upstream teams.
  • Develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate networking and collaboration among team members.
  • Propose resource allocation for managing product life cycles from concept to retirement.
  • Contribute to the development of an annual departmental budget by forecasting needs.
  • Represent the company by visiting accounts to solicit feedback on products and services.
  • Organize physician symposiums and collaborate with internal departments for promotion.
  • Partner with Global Marketing Product Managers for messaging consistency across markets.
  • Identify key analytics to measure UroLift success and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive consensus in complex environments.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with a focus on team success.
