About the position

The Associate Product Manager for Downstream Marketing at Teleflex is responsible for executing marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System, a minimally invasive treatment for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and key customers to enhance product adoption and utilization, while also monitoring competitive activity and recommending pricing strategies. The position is remote and focuses on strategic input and execution to drive the success of the UroLift System in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Execute specific marketing plans and activities for the UroLift System to enhance product placement.
  • Monitor competitive activity and recommend pricing strategies to drive adoption.
  • Design strategies to maximize product line profitability through market research and financial analyses.
  • Define customer needs to prioritize new product development and enhancements.
  • Create promotional plans consistent with product line strategy.
  • Recommend product launch strategies and ensure effective marketing materials are developed.
  • Collaborate with upstream teams for new product launch planning.
  • Develop strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate networking and collaboration among team members.
  • Propose resource allocation for managing product life cycles.
  • Contribute to the annual departmental budget by forecasting needs and utilizing previous budgets.
  • Solicit feedback on products by visiting accounts.
  • Organize physician symposiums and promote events.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across global markets with Product Managers.
  • Identify key analytics to measure UroLift success and communicate progress.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority in complex environments.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and data analysis.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with a team-oriented mindset.
