About the position
The position involves providing support to Strategic Marketing, Product Management, and Commercialization Marketing by obtaining market intelligence, initiating new product development projects, and assisting in product launches and commercialization processes. The role requires gathering customer voice (VOC) through various methods, compiling market information, and assisting in the product management process. The candidate will also support commercialization efforts and be expected to continuously learn about new products and technologies while adhering to ethical and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and compiling customer VOC, including drafting and sending out surveys, consolidating direct customer interviews, and reviewing relevant customer complaints/inquiries.
- Gather market information from external and internal channels, summarize and communicate to marketing and product management to help form customer-focused requirements during product conceptualization and new product realization processes.
- Assist Product Management with inputting PIM (Project Information Management) data.
- Provide administrative support and input on new product realization projects, including assisting in beta programs, compiling customer feedback, and conducting general data analysis.
- Support commercialization efforts on new products or services, including content generation, lead verification, and validating opportunities to distribute to sales.
- Demonstrate continuous learning in understanding new products and technologies and support Strategic Portfolio Management processes.
- Demonstrate inclusion through actions and words, ensuring accountability for a safe workspace, and acting with kindness, curiosity, and respect for others.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or has obtained an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a life science related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey both technical and marketing information.
- Demonstrated ability to work on detailed projects and assignments and to follow through; highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action; result-oriented.
- Effectively and efficiently prioritize multiple projects based on an awareness of business and project goals.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior knowledge/experience with Amplification based assays including dPCR.
- Prior knowledge/experience with Capillary Electrophoresis or Next Gen Sequencing Instruments.
